What is the last day to register?
The last day to register online is Wednesday, June 26th at 11:59pm EST. After online registration closes only 10 slots will be left available. These spots will be handed out first come first serve, during Friday's packet pick up on June 28, 2024. Once they are filled we will close registration. It is highly recommended that you register early to secure your spot and save on your registration fees. It will also save you time in packet pick up.
Is there a way to check the status of my 2024 registration?

Will there be professional medical personnel on hand during the race?
Yes, professional medical personnel will be in stationed in the transition area throughout the race and at the finish line.
How many aid stations are there on the course?
There is an aid station in the transition area. There are 5 aid stations on the bike course and 8 stations on the run.
Do I have to be a USAT member to race?
No, but you will need to purchase a one day USAT membership when you register. The cost is $23.00.
Is the swim a mass start?
No. In 2019 we went to a rolling start. 5 athletes will be released every 5 seconds to start until all in that distance have gone. We will give a longer pause between the Sprint, Olympic, and Tinman distances to try to avoid confusion at the turns.
What will be offered at the aid stations?
Bike stations will offer water, Powerade, bananas, gels. Run stations will offer water, Powerade, Coca-cola, oranges, pretzels, gels.
As a participant can I have assistance during the race?
No. USAT rules.

I have a questions on my USAT membership in the registration process.
Please refer the Chronotrack’s FAQ on the USAT options in the registration here. You may need to contact USAT directly in most instances. You do not have to renew your USAT annual membership when you register for the Tinman, this is an added convenience. You can always go directly to USAT to renew your membership as usual.
Can I rack my bike the night before?
No. We do not have night security. You will be able to rack you bike starting at 6:00 am race morning.
Can I pick up a race packet for my friend/teammate?
No. Per USAT rules we must check the ID and USAT card (if an annual member) for each athlete registered, no matter what race they are participating in. Be sure to have your ID and USAT card (if annual member) with you at check-in.
What is the water temperature on race day?
The average temperature of the water is between 68 and 72 degrees.
I have registered for the Tinman, but something happened that I can't make it. What are my options?
Please email the race director at tinman@tupperlake.com for deferral or other options. We do not offer refunds for any reason.
What if I deferred my 2023 registration. How do I sign up for 2024?
If you have deferred your 2023 Tinman Registration for the 2024 race you should have received a coupon code in your email. You will be prompted to enter this code at the end of the registration process. Please note you will need to re-register, you are not automatically rolled into the next registration.
